This site is operated by James Ashcroft. This policy explains what information is collected here and how it's used.

What we collect

If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and whatever message you include. If you check the newsletter box, we also add your email to our mailing list. We don't collect anything else, and nothing is collected automatically just by browsing the site beyond standard, non-identifying analytics (page views, general location, device type) that most websites use to understand traffic.

How we use it

Contact form submissions are used only to respond to you. Newsletter sign-ups are used only to send the newsletter itself. We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where it's stored

Contact form data is processed through Squarespace, the platform this site runs on. Newsletter sign-ups are processed through Substack. Both are handled under their own respective privacy and security practices.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email you receive. If you'd like your contact form information deleted, email [contact email] and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
